This might be the perfect style to try out when you are recovering from a party yet have to go out. No fuss and absolutely no frizz. This will be your styling best friend for the next day. no matter how much your head might be hurting, it will look great. The bonus is that it is quick and easy. Even if hair styling is not your forte this is perfect for you. So if you want a frizz-free style follow this step-by-step hairstyle tutorial and, as always, #wearcliphair.
Step number 1: Prepare your hair
Even though we know we are working frizzy locks, that doesn’t mean that we can neglect your locks at the preparation stage. Brush your hair with a wide toothed comb to make sure you don’t have large knots then pop your Cliphair extensions in if they aren’t already. If you have clip in extensions don’t add them yet.. Your hair will probably be quite dry at the moment, particularly at the ends. So add some leave-in conditioner or coconut oil to your locks to nourish them a little. If you want to embrace the texture you have already add some texture spray too. If you have second day hair and the front is looking a bit flat just add some dry shampoo.
Step number 2: Create your base
Before we make this look a bit fancy, it is time to create the bas4. Divide a section of your hair from your temples and up. Tie this into a ponytail. Now divide a middle portion that goes to the bottom of your ears and tie up. The next section will be the rest of your hair tied into a low ponytail.
Step number 3: Add your extensions
So this is the part for those of you using Cliphair’s clip in extensions. Clip your extensions around your ponytails ensuring you keep the ridge close to your head so it is easier to conceal. Take a small section from each ponytail and wrap it around the top to hide the top of your extensions then pin this section in the back.
Step number 4: Make your shape
Create a gap on top of your hair tie on your first ponytail. Flip the ponytail up and through the gap. Fan out the twist to cover you hair tie then repeat with ponytail number 2. this time tuck the end of your first ponytail into this gap. Make sure your fan out the second twist as well. Do the same with the third ponytail. Once your third ponytail is flipped through and you are happy with the twist you can either leave it or, if the ends of your hair are frizzy, roll your hair up towards your head and pin it secure. Don’t forget to add some hairspray to finish.
