Big curls for big hair
If you have lovely thick hair the best way to show it off is with curls. To create this look start off with your hair extensions in. it doesn’t really matter if this is newly washed hair or second-day hair just make sure that your hair is dry and you have a centre parting. Split your hair in half and bring them over your shoulders. Make sure your hair is totally tangle free, I find a paddle brush is brilliant for getting through thick hair without pulling. Now take a one-inch section closest to your neck and curl your hair towards you by placing it under the barrel and wind it upwards. Once your curl has been on the barrel for a few moments, release the curl into your hand (so it doesn’t lose shape) and pin the curl so it cools in a tight loop shape. Repeat this on the next section but this time wrap the hair around the barrel in a downwards direction, this will help the curl look more distinct, fuller and more natural. Repeat this all the way around, making sure that the hair either side of your part is curled away from your face. Let your hair cool, hairspray your hair and take your clips out. Shake your hair a little to make your hair more natural and scrunch in your mousse then you are done.

The ultra thick side braid
This look is stunning and perfect for a holiday or festival weekend away. You can actually start with a similar look to the one above. Split some of the curls so they look more like big loose waves. Choose which side of your head you want your braid to sit and gather your braid to that side of your head. A great little tip to keep the hair on top of your head in place gather a small section of hair and tie it with a clear hair tie on top of your head. Don’t worry other strands of hair will cover it but if you want to create extra detail loop it through. Split your mini ponytail in two and create a twist braid and secure with a hair tie. Divide the rest of your hair into three and include the twist braid with the front section and create a basic three strands braid. Pinch the sections to create extra volume and you are done.
